In my last entry, I mentioned Kyuss having a sore foot. He was still using the limb mostly normally, and it wasn't swollen, so I left him to heal on his own (vets can do very little about sprains and such in rats. The usually just give an anti-inflmmatory and leave it to heal on its own - even in rats with breaks, this is all they tend to do). Now, however, he is bunching his hand up to walk. Its still not swollen, but he doesn't like extending his toes now. Im guessing he has strained a ligament... read more
