It's been a looong creative winter. It fucking pisses me off that I can't seem to organize my thoughts and write even one fucking paragraph. I used to be able to write whole novels in a short period of time but now I agonize over each sentence and it drives me nuts to the core. I hate this. Weird! They've got this category called Writer's Block where you can just post random shit. I like it. I'm gonna choose the second one I saw: "What's the best birthday present you ever received?" I wouldn't call it a birthday present per se, but my parents bought me my first car, used, from my dad's work. I had no idea that they were gonna do it and it was absolutely amazing. What are your favorite and least favorite words? Any reasons why? Yesterday I decided that "faux" was my favorite word. It sounds so much better than fake and it gets the point across better since it adds a bit of a snotty quality that's actually pretty comical when calling something fake. So today I thought it was pretty funny and appropriate for ljs "writer's block" suggestion to be about favorite words.
