Our wonderful Ottawa Senators have reached the Stanley Cup Finals. Woo Hoo! They beat the Buffalo Sabres in overtime on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, I didn't get the opportunity to see Alfie's elegant game-winning goal. I was busy tasting wine with my Mom, my sister Julie, and my friend Lori (lazigyrl) at a festival in Picton, ON. Well, the very cool news is that at school we got 41 students in for count day (and we only needed 40--woo-hoo!). For those of you not in education, the government needs some way to know how much money to give to the school districts for the students who attend, so there is this count period, and also specifically a count day. For a program like ours, the count period is very important because the district contracts us for slots (in our case, 40) and if we don't have 40 students during the count...

Wooo, Obama blew Hillary outta the water in South Carolina!! So far, the tally shows Obama with 54% of the votes and Hillary with a diminutive 27%! Woo hoo!
