The problem with John Hughes movies/ 80's Teen Flicks
   

Is that always, the sidekick/Geek/Comic relief always lucks out love-wise. Breakfast Club? Who is left as the only one not paired up with someone? Brian the "Nerd". Pretty In Pink? Who is patiently, and obviously in love with Andie, and has more personality than the stick in the mud rich-boy love interest?
