Thursday evening I stayed with Lois in Charlottesville and we went to the new Star Trek movie. That was great! We both loved it. Apparently the theater was expecting plenty of turnout, because the 4 screens featured Star Trek, Star Trek, Star Trek, and Star Trek. I tried to take a picture of the marquee outside with those 4 choices on them. This movie is a prequel to the original series. They hired young actors to portray Kirk, Spock, McCoy, etc. in their early days at Starfleet Academy. ... read more
