So this year my Christmas was very enjoyable. It was a smaller one for the tighter budgets but in the end it worked out for the best I think. It's funny how when you're a child you see your stocking full and all the gifts around to where sometimes you can barely look over the top of the stack of boxes and gifts that you've unwrapped and as you get older it's not so much... but it's still great and enjoyable. My family isn't religious so we don't celebrate Easter from a spiritual point of view, but we certainly do celebrate it from a food point of view! In the UK we have quite a few food-related Easter traditions - hot cross buns, Easter eggs (large hollow chocolate eggs, usually filled with sweets) etc etc. And another one is Easter biscuits.
