Yesterday we had Chinese and we got fortune cookies. Well we got them but we had to pay for them. The tradition that we follow is that someone else you are with picks out your fortune cookie. I'm not sure the rule is applicable if your are eating alone but if your eating alone your luck may change by asking a stranger for a fortune cookie. They may just think you crazy.
