As anybody who's been watching this blog has figured out by now, I took a BIG hiatus. Well, the idea of starting the blog was to chronicle my resurrected chess "career" - the Old Man Returns To Chess kinda thing. Only, well - I stopped. I played in four - no, make that three - tournaments: Grand Rapids, Lansing, and the Michigan Senior in Flint.
