Yep. This week was great! Finally started P3 in English(not that I really had to). Passed my summer course(although I'm never telling you my mark). Managed to get a Wii. And best of all... It seems I've been unduly criticising Park Chan-wook. I completely didn't care for Oldboy , and Mister Vengeance , while interesting as a study of character motivation and the East Asian fascination with minutiae and the mundane (think Mamoru Oshii ala Avalon ), wasn't thoroughly satisfying. My thesis proposal is more or less finished. The penultimate draft was 2700 words, but after taking into account the feedback from my peers, it's sitting on a nice 3100 words now. So, I hand it in tomorrow, and then I'm on holidays.
