The Court Jester My aunt and uncle suggested this movie to my sister and me. They kept jumping back and forth with my mom with inside jokes, which can be annoying when you haven't seen the movie yet :) They brought it to us last night, and we just finished watching it. 歌舞喜剧是以前好莱坞流行的一种类型片，现在是不多见了，迪斯尼都不作了，所以看到1955年的The Court Jester反而觉得fresh。这部片主题是恶搞了下以罗宾汉为主的当时红极一时的古装冒险片，并请了此类片中的反派专业户Basil Rathbone出演大反派Ravenhurst。主角Hawkins是位艺人，加入了绿林好汉 Black Fox带领的反抗军本想过劫富济贫的英雄生活，却被派了作皇室遗孤的“保姆“，机缘巧合他被委派伪装成小丑Giacomo潜入皇宫获取宫廷秘道的钥匙，谁知Giacomo实际是Ravenhurst请来的刺客，不巧他还被一心要逃避包办婚姻的公主给看上了，一番叫人笑破肚皮的混乱冒险后，Hawkins终于完成任务，并与心上人Jean修成正果。 看这片的感觉和公主新娘有点类似，且女主角比公主新娘里的牛油杯顺眼多了，兼有歌舞助兴，是一次非常愉快的看片经历。男主角Danny Kaye以喜剧出名，面部表情生动，唱歌跳舞功底也都很扎实，还有一口十分了得的绕口令功夫，台词中特地设计了几句绕口令，比如最著名的台词：The pellet with the poison's in...
