We have been busy unearthing stairs from their carpety graves. The stairs going to the second floor look great- just need a sanding and a varnish. I have no idea where people got the idea to cover up beautiful hardwoods with allergy and dirt housing carpet. The steps to the basement are made out of friggin plywood. AWESOME. We'll have to tear out the surface boards and replace them with wood. There are seriously 4 different kinds of hardwood in this house, it is funny. My hands are totally torn up... read more
