as you know, there was sinus surgery last week. today was my 6-day follow-up, and dr.J was very pleased with me. i also learnt more about what the heck was IN my nose. the "stitch" was actually a holder of some spacers. spacers hold the sinuses open after they've been cleared out, and at the end of them there's often sponges to soak up/hold open everything. well, today, my sinuses were numbed with a spray. the spacers were removed, as well as many of the clots that were sitting up beyond the spacers... read more
