So what do you guys think about the hypothesis that the first Americans were Europeans? As in the Solutrean hypothesis? I don't know much about this, since I'm not even in college yet (I want to study anthropology, though) but I would definitely like to learn more. I remember reading somewhere that they found out that Native Americans of the West Coast of America shared genetic markers with people in Siberia. Is this true? If so, doesn't that prove that Native American ancestors came from Siberia... read more
