Protip. Independent contractors get raped in the ass come tax season. I've just recently learned that, since I don't have any social security deducted during the year, I have to pay huge painful amounts of taxes at the end of the year. It's utterly insane. Mike's entire $2000 refund got eaten up, and we still owe $200+ . It's rifuckingdiculous.
