After dropping by Champagne 2 to give Jonathan my camera, I had lunch with Bobby and Jared (and Victor, technically) at CPK. I met up with Hana after to drag her around shopping, but Shang is a boring mall for clothing and the like (within my budget, which isn't much), so we headed to Rockwell. I bought a shitload of stuff I didn't need. Sometimes I resent being born into this kind of lifestyle. We bumped into a lot of Povedans today. Special mention to Mika Sollano, it was great seeing you again...

But I love people down here. Everyone stops to help you out if something happens to your car. Right now? There are like three vehicles that have stopped to help one out (vehicle ran out of water). I honestly don't remember ever seeing this many people stopping to help someone else, prior to that accident the other week. That day, there were so many people on the side of the road, you know? And it's like since then....people are changed. My dad saw something not right on the back of a truck last...

 This is for the home, but not technically a home improvement, but I've read so many helpful posts here in the past I thought I'd give it a shot. Last year some friends gave us wine bottle votive holders. Basically  the top and bottom of the bottle were cut off so that you could set a votive candle in it. They are great conversation pieces and in my mind a great way to recycle emptys. I found out they bought them at a vineyard, but I think there should be a way to cut the wine bottle. I'd love...
