Want to know what I think like?

It's an epic, about a prostitute named Xayara, and her exploits and her progression from an high-priced whore to a figure of legend. He was no treat to look at, but that was not the trouble. Judging from his words, expressions, and body language, he was behaving like a man who thought women were there for his pleasure. She had seen it before, and while a certain part...

Why people hate cops an essay by Derrick Jensen I’m scared to write this essay, scared to have it published, scared it will be read by police officers or customs agents, scared that the next time I’m stopped for some traffic violation or the next time I try to cross a border, some police officer or customs agent will...

Hey look! Bad apps!

Right, so I recently started visiting a new/old Jak-based RP board. It’s actually very good with decent rules. It’s a… little bit looser than normal, but not bad. Well, not all bad. Some of these profiles though, I’m torn between cringing and laughing my head off. My comments are in bold , and frequently nitpicky and possibly snarky. This first one is from a new type of experiment that sprang up the other day. A fusion of metal-head and elf. *Name: Subject 541 Nickname: Curse Because...

PAUL FINDLEY They Dare to Speak Out

"I Felt I Had to Do Something" The American religious community has seen few figures of the stature of Francis Sayre willing to speak out forcefully for peace and justice for all Middle East peoples. At the time of the Palm Sunday sermon in 1972, he was one of the most prominent spokesmen of American Christianity—a powerful and intellectually gifted man wielding the authority of Washington Cathedral's prestigious pulpit. Despite the price Sayre paid for his courageous stand, younger voices...
