Yesterday morning it was raining like mad in NY. There were flood advisories and heavy winds. It tapered off to a sprinkle by the time I got on the bus in Nyack, so I thought I'd be safe. Ha! I should have known better when my trip to JFK went so smoothly - the E train was pulling into 53rd & Lex just as I got to the bottom of the escalator.
