Rings

Exciting week! We picked out our rings this week, and Dan paid for them and picked them up today :-D They are exceptionally similar to the icon on this entry: very very simple, matching, plain, white gold Comfort Fit bands. . . . on a self-portrait photography site. Is it a coincidence of a popular trend? Is piercing a lip symbolic? Is the top lip as significant as the bottom? Don't lip-rings interfere with the most primary erotic gesture: kissing? Is tonguing -- or lipping -- a ring a furthered foreplay? Are lip-rings specific to a gender? Should I button my querying lips? My lips are on the average, I think, 25 years older than most I'm seeing.

Once again, I'm going to attempt to read the Lord of the Rings . I have read the The Hobbit and really enjoyed it, but so far have never been able to get very far with Lord of the Rings . The reason I like the movies so much is that it cuts down much of the non-essential elements and told a simpler, more direct story. I've got so much I need to do, but I'd really like to just chuck it all and go downstairs and watch the Lord of the Rings movies.
