Another day, another "encrypt your disk to prevent THEM from looking at it..." article. In this case, Bruce S. at Wired talks about setting up whole-disk encryption, and sending the key to another person so that you can claim that you literally can't decrypt it during a customs search. In my opinion, that is one of the better ways of being really stupid. Sure, you aren't going to be lying to the customs person when you say you can't access it for them.
