One thing I get over about New York is the way rain works here. I guess growing up in Northern California I have skewed concepts of "wet" weather. I spent the entire day out and about, the sun shining down horrendously. The humidity making me sweat like a pig if a pig could sweat and was walking around Manhattan in 87 degree weather. The sky was without a cloud, until about 6 pm (well, i can't be sure exactly what time, I was asleep) when a layer of them covered the sky. It's supposed to rain... read more
