Productive

Made breakfast. Worked on the Alpha for a bit. Tried to work on writing. When Gary and his mom came back from church, then it was time for lunch, so fixed that. Then they went back to Chicago because he had to "dance the dark Morris" at sunset. (It's a Terry Pratchett thing.) Cleaned barns. Took Tess out to the pasture. More crafts! I really have been super productive today. Like...more productive than I have been in forever. I finished a gift for Chris for his birthday by 9AM, was out of the house by 11 to go to the bank and post office to send his gift off (Happy Birthday), made my apron by 2:30, bought the thingy that I'm going to use for my siser's gift by 4:30, drew a picture for my aunt's silent auction for her Pan-American club by 5:00 and finished an iPod cozy by 8:30. Ok so I obviously didn't die. To tell the truth I don't even think I got Lorelei's killer germs. I think I just had a really bad allergy attack. I assumed it was the cold since I took my allergy meds early in the day and it didn't help at all. I thought for sure my head was going to explode and my teeth hurt so badly (which was the tip off that it was my sinuses). Yesterday we had the builder and another guy come by and work on the a/c unit. There were a bunch of recommendations by the engineer...

Yesterday was actually a really good day… I got my results back for one out of my three English exams and got a -B which I was really happy about hopefully I can get it up to an A in a couple of months!! At lunchtime I spent 45mins peer mentoring outside which was really good, the guy in charge of the scheme says he “expects great things from me,” which is nice to hear as its not often I have someone who seems to really believe in me. I've got much to do......and I've actually been doing it! I got a lot done today so far, and it's really helping! Getting things done always makes me feel better....I just need the motivation to get me started. I've got my story to do in sign language tomorrow, and I feel more prepared for it than I have for any of my other stories I've done in there. And I'm halfway done with my PowerPoint project, which I started yesterday....I'm glad it's not gonna be nearly as time consuming as Access was......

Ok, I've decided that if I were to have a doppelganger it would be a highly productive member of society. I have done very little to better society (except of course support the economy by spending money on alcohol and video games). I don't study, I don't do homework, heck I don't even do my reading homework and the worst part is I get moderately good grades (not good enough to be happy with but good enough to be the most cost effective strategy and I'm still convinced it's possible to get a degree...
