Potential hiatus

There is a very, very good chance my laptop just died. I don't know exactly what the problem is yet, and I don't know how long it'll take to fix it, but I know it's bad, and I know that it's almost undoubtedly that the hard drive's failed. So I'm not going to be around until we get it fixed. I still have e-mail, so LJ notifications will get to me, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to respond to comments. I find it ironic that "Lost" officially got its fourth season today, while so many "fans" and media reviewers seem to be claiming that the show is completely off the rails. Some have gone so far as to say that this episode "told us nothing new". Let me repeat that bit of nonsense: "told us nothing new". I challenge anyone to explain how this episode was simply a matter of spinning wheels. I think it's simply become the popular thing to complain about "Lost" and act like it's a failure, at least 30...

I didn't know it was in danger... it's probably my favorite comedy on the air right now.. Fandom seems to have gone a bit...asplodey. It causes Teh Fear mostly.
