Words in History Contrary to popular belief, I don't want to be an author, because authors are just people who get paid to write, and writing is just putting words together the way someone would a symphony, one rhythmic note against blank spaces at a time. quick! i need this edited and crit'd by monday! and, by 'monday,' i clearly mean, 'sunday night so i can print it out.' the assignment was a poem about a positive change. i chose interracial marriage. but i'm not pleased with this poem, at all. it's not doing anything i'm telling it to. History class is so inspiring... |

So in English class we're starting to read a Tale of Two Cites. For some random reason, our teacher had us write anaphoras in the still of the first sentence ("It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...") so being an obsessive Doctor Who freak, I wrote ones with references that no one got except my friend Brittany.
