Today is the grand opening of the Metro Light Rail in Phoenix. Rides are free until New Year's Day. So I walked down to the stop by my house to take in the festivities. Fair food (fried stuff, funnel cake, hot dogs), cheesy band playing classic rock songs, guy walking around in a Statue of Liberty costume, and a huge line of people waiting to board the light rail.
