Paris day 1 started around 5pm when we pulled into the train station in Paris. One metro train and an RER train later, plus a very short walk, and we're at our hotel, the Bellechasse . (Note: beware terrible french web design if you follow that link. Really.) This is a strangely very-designed hotel, and lovely. Our room was small and a riot of colours and patterns .
