So we spent 3 days in Prague. It is a beautiful city...from what I can remember of it. Simon and I turned our party in Poland into a party in Prague which ended up bleeding into St Patricks day. In short I was hammered for 5 days straight and Simon for 7. Happy bithrday to us! We met a lot of really fun people and had an amazing time but totally neglected the city as a tourist, oops! I guess we'll just have to come back.

Not Prague at all in fact, but Nottingham. I parked myself in this cheap B&B next to the station to make sure I was able to get to East Midlands Airport on time. I couldn't sleep at all really - overexcited-ness and that - and I took this picture out of my window some time before 6am. This is actually my hotel! How awesome is that! You'd think to look at it it would be really expensive, but in fact it was about as cheap as you get for that time of year, without having to share a bathroom...

Ryan and i arrived in Prague about 10pm CET on tuesday evening. the journey hadn't been too difficult and i was feeling excited about being in a new city, a new country, with lots of new experiences to be had. we left our bags in the apartment we'd rented and went for a walk. we wandered past the imposing facade of the National Museum , down the length of Wenceslas Square , through cobbled streets, and found ourselves in the Old Town Square , in front of the famous Astronomical Clock .
