The last weekend in September I was up in New York City as a judge for the New York Anime Festival. I had a great time, was pleasantly surprised at the number of cosplayers who knew me or knew of me. I gave a comp membership for CC-27 to their best Novice, and I believe that we'll get some members from NYAF. As usual quality was all over the place, but the best there is equal to the best anywhere I've seen.
