Went up to PAGS for my first game of 40K tonight. Got the usual friendly greeting - which is nice - and an encouraging sign for the long-term. Dave offered battle - 1500 pt Tau vs my Ultramarines. He knew I was a rank amateur and so offered plenty of advice and coaching. The battle was pretty even until two deep striking Terminator squads in turns 2 and 3 destroyed his entire left wing.
