I ditched my first class of the day so I could get a head start on some extra sleep and so I could make a trip to Home Depot. The bridge on my upright is set way too high (nobody's fault, it came straight from the warehouse) so I'm off to Home Depot to get a round file to smooth down the string grooves to lower my action (the space between the strings and the finger board, rockabilly bass requires a pretty low action) and some number two pencils (graphite from pencils acts as lubrication for strings... read more
