I have decided to make a quilt. Not an ugly quilt, like most of them that seem to be featured in quilting books, but a pretty quilt, with squares made out of pretty girly colors and flowers and cute little prints. I started hunting down material today. Speaking of which, why are there so many ugly calicos out there in the world? So many busy prints and almost-neon colors and so many busy prints on bright neon colors, and don't you just have a nice soft green with polka dots on it? Or maybe something... read more
