So I took an idea from bristlesage last night and tried some interval training. At my gym near work (Average Joe's), I tried intervals of 6.5 mph for one mile, slow down to 4 for three minutes, then another mile at 6.5. The second mile was pretty damn tough, but considering up until six months ago, my usual pace on a treadmill was around five and a half miles an hour, that's one hell of an improvement. SWEET.
