Moose Update

Moose is better. She started eating and drinking on her own and has turned into a pooping machine like her two siblings. I think she is getting a little stir crazy in her "quarantine zone" but she needs to stay there for at least one more week so that her spay area has time to heal and so that the sores on her feet won't get infected. Fuzzball and Ginger keep her company sometimes, and they sniff each other through the fence.  I think her feet are starting to look better but I can't tell if her... read more

So, my friend calls me up from Safeway... "Hi, do you want some moose crap?" (meaning "Moose Tracks" ice cream, but they always thought it was actually called moose crap). I about died laughing... after I realized what they were talking about. so? Moose crap any body?

This is Moose. Moose was abandoned at the Hermitage Cat Shelter and has both Feline Leukemia and Feline Immune Deficiency Virus (the feline form of AIDs). He is also around 80 years old in cat years! Normally, I refuse to have anything to do with lugging the trash cans up our driveway on Monday evenings. At least, I refuse to deal with it unless it's summer time.
