WE SHALL GO WEST. While I was in the bath, Emmanuel took what had previously just been a flight itinerary and a booked rental car and turned it into a road trip itinerary of kings. (Emmanuel is a very excitable and experienced road tripper, but we had to cancel our similar trip last year when Mom was sick.)
