So I opened my laptaop a bit ago to a completely dead screen. Scratch that. The screen when angled just the right way, was actually on but somehow the back light was not there. Panic mode set in. For about an hour, I combed through phone books and harassed people here with computers to find apple stores and such for calling. The only gig in Eugene authorized has a 5-7 day backlog. The Best Buy in Springfield, one town over, sends stuff out for a 2-3 week turn around time. Panic mode increasing.... read more
