I just finished watching Desperate Housewives. Made me think about when I have fights with my mom and I say stupid things like that to her. Anyway, I found a quote by Eli Wiesel (author of Night) very similar to this, if not the source... read more

So yes, I completely spaced yesterday and didn't put up a quote. I kept thinking to myself, "I've got to put one up there" and then I never got around to it. *sighs* Anyway, today's quote comes from, you guessed it, The Brainstorm Gallery . Individual words like abomination, betrayal, unfathomable, Campeche 1 , regression, and huh? do come to mind, as well as the occasional phrase such as my body, pluralistic ignorance, and can't win . (Though I suspect this... read more

I couldn't settle on a quote today, so you get a whole poem! One of my all-time favorites. The More Loving One by W.H. Auden Looking up at the stars, I know quite well That for they care, I can go to hell, But on earth indifference is the least We have to dread from man or beast. How should we like it were stars for burn With a passion for us we could not return? If equal affection cannot be, Let the more loving one be me. Admirer as I think I am Of stars that do not give a damn, I cannot... read more
