I hate to see animals put to sleep, so I'll only adopt from a shelter that stands to kill them. No sense in adopting from a no-kill shelter since the kitten's life isn't in jeopardy there. If only more people would see things this way. In a perfect world, no one would ever adopt from a no-kill shelter. With nobody to take kittens off their hands, no-kill shelters would suffer unbearable financial strain, go broke, and disappear.
