I haven't been much engaged in reading fantasy lately, but have found the time for these books, the "First Law Trilogy" by Joe Abercrombie. I'm not sure they've been discussed here yet, but I think they're worthy of dissection. And judging by the way I keep diverting conversation about fantasy towards them, I obviously have some opinions to get off my chest.
