Hello all. I just finished reading Kindred by Octavia Butler. It's a fictional book about a modern woman who unwillingly goes back into slavery times. I know that may sound kind of lame cuz I suck at book descripions but I think it's good. I found it interesting and insightful. I learned somethings about how life was in those times. I don't usually like history books, however I enjoyed this one because it didn't feel like a history lesson. Recommended for open minds. Has anyone else read it? read more
