I’ve the loan of a Nikkor 75-300 lens for a while to see if I want to buy it off of a guy here at work. Last night’s mail included a set of replacement mounts for my tripod. I did a mad-scientist thing and combined the two together.
300mm of zoom on a DX sensor is fairly impressive. It’s the equivalent of a 450 lens on a regular 35mm camera.
