July 4th 2008 Tomahawk Wisconsin Harley-Davidson Part 1/2 Penitent for the poor quality. I know the basic theory of how to re-handle an axe - basic shaping, wedge, diagonal protect wedge, soak in linseed oil etc. But how is it done with a tomahawk? Especially with those made by Cold Steel which have a hole in the side of the axe head. The handles for tomahawks I've seen face like a round tapered stick and no wedges seem to be used because of the small diameter of the handle. So...what is the... read more
