Hospital bill denouement

The adventures of the hospital bill did not end with the day I chased all over town . It took another month, several more phone calls, and a lot of frustration. Last night Tyler and I had to rush Isobel to the animal hospital because we thought  that she had a broken leg.  Isobel is my four year old Siamese cat, whom I love to pieces.  She is not only my favorite cat, she is also my familiar, so it was heart-wrenching to watch her display such pain and discomfort.  I can't stand to see any animal suffer, but when it's a pet, it's just unbearable.  Anyway, Saturday morning she got into a fight with my other cat, Cam.  They were on my bed, which is pretty...

"Mom! I am better! Everything is fine. Yes, she was a really nice nurse and Tom never left my side." Tom thought he was dreaming hearing Bill's voice. He grumbled and turned over in his bed. I mean, I'm already reconciled to having to pay a goddamn enormous hospital bill for the stitches & such (see postings from last week if you've missed this wonderful, zany episode in my wonderful, zany life which totally does not suck in almost every dimension at the present (not actually complaining, mind you...just...an observation...I've been having...from...time to...time)), but, again, to reiterate the subject heading, no, I don't plan on paying another goddamn $100 "copay" for having the stitches...

Everything has just gone to hell in a hand basket for me, (yes due to the $2250 hospital bill :P), to the point that food is an unnessiary luxury and I'm going to have to cancel my internet access on Monday & my power bill is going to be turned off on Tuesday if I can't arrange to have it paid off a bit at a time - which has been arranged before so... (Don't worry I can't bring myself to ask for help paying these things). Which means I'm hoping to find someone a few people to take over Master...
