To start off I just wanted to update that my mom situation seems to be fixed (we had gotten into a fight this summer and things were awkward when I got engaged so she felt like she was being left out...then called and screamed at me about it less than a week before xmas) we talked and have agreed to move forward...and she is being really helpful.
