I had to work today, and my supposed-to-be-over-at-2:30 day turned into my 6:00 pm end time when the hospital administrators decided to admit an extra 5 patients than they had anticipated this weekend. I'm all for having more patients, but they need to understand that I've actually told people to STAY home on Monday and now there are an additional 9 hours of patient coverage that are up in the air because they can't plan ahead & communicate with me.
