Let me preface this by saying that I loved Anthony Burgess' novel from the first page. The pitch-black humor, the gorgeous idiosyncratic language, the biting social commentary and uncomfortable questions it raised about right and wrong--it's a fantastic piece of work, and if there's anyone out there who's seen the movie but not read the book, do yourself a favor and remedy that.
