Can anyone recommend any decent (and free) tools for diagnosing the cause of graphics issues? I am having the following problem with 3d rendering. General 2d rendering seems to be fine until the 3d issue occurs and then all hell breaks loose. I'm down to it being either vid mem or cpu issues potentially caused by heat. Or if anyone has any suggestions as to cause please let me know. Drivers for monitor and card (8500gt) have been updated. read more
