It started out sounding like something I would end up reporting to bad_service , but it ended well. I had some overdrafts placed on my checking account this week, which had me frustrated, so I pulled up my online statement to see what's going on. The first overdraft fee didn't seem to have a reason for existing, and because of this overdraft, I was short on funds for the next charge, so it kept snowballing. Quelle strange.
