My laptop is back. Yay! And it's working. Yay! BUT! What we thought was the problem wasn't the problem, and the problem still exists (it's in the power cord, not the computer), and that's not fixable until the weekend. So I'll be sort of half-laptopping it for another week or so. Better than before, though. To cure my laptop blues, my lovely wife and daughter got me a ukulele for Christmas.
