I've just seen the spectacular part of the olympic games openings but go on during the walking in of the players. I just tried the beet-root micro recipe from sis and they feel just good after 10 minutes! Now to cool down. (And I found out from my green-grocer why I did not entirely liked the pre-cooked ones: they put "soda" in the cooking water to hasten up the cooking process!) Today was the quarterly Disco Bay Flea Market, where we all go down to the plaza and trade each other’s junk for three months. Consequently, we spent the afternoon boiling in the hot, hot sun: 33ºC (around 91ºF) and clear skies all day. The bridal unit got a mild case of heat stroke and I got a nice burn, me.
