I normally hate "Fresh Air" on NPR, but for some reason last night, I kept listening when I normally wouldn't have. To make matters worse, the featured guest was a poet, and I am one of those uncivilized types that just doesn't get poetry, usually. But both the skill of the writer and the emotion in her voice was genuinely moving, to the point where I had yet another one of those "NPR made me cry" moments.
