Fannish stuff and female characters

I was reading metafandom today and saw this post on fannish tendancies. One of the things lyore did was list her fandoms, the primary characters she liked, and then her secondary favorite characters in parentheses. She noticed that she tended toward loving the main characters and then paying some attention to the secondary ones. This post is probably going to be the very definition of tl;dr, as I plan to spend it talking about the matches in cidercupcakes ' Home Team 2009: Round One , full of wonderful fictional women and proof once again that I hold a fuckton of unpopular fandom opinions.
